TNT Party! Thursday Night Track Party Come watch the band's progress each week! Each Thursday during the last 20 minutes of practice. Bring chairs/blankets and meet on the track. Let's make this band season a "booming" success! |

Band Lingo CPW-Casual Performance Wear or the black t-shirt and shorts students wear under their band uniform. This allows everyone to change in the same room- modestly. TNT Party-Thursday Night Track Party. Weekly update from the director during the last 20 minutes of practice. Come join the fun and see what they have worked on all week. Gauntlets-the part of the uniform that covers the wrist and makes the gloves look longer. Uniform Mom-The selfless, hard-working parent that helps dress band students. She also makes sure the uniforms are clean and ready to wear at every performance. Occasionally she has to give advise, yell, and give hugs! Pit Crew-the "pit" is the part of the percussion section that does not march. The Pit Crew helps "set-up" the band before each performance. Requirements are a strong back and good spelling skills! Black Box-this is a secure black metal box located in the band room next to the director's office. Place any correspondence or fees in here. Parent information Center- file boxes located just inside the school on the wall near the band room entrance. It contains any information needed by parents. ie: Forms, itineraries for trips, directions to contests Staging Area-location where the band dresses, rests, and eats during contests. Located as close as possible to the contest site. |

| The CCBB host bingo every Friday night and Sunday afternoon. This is our main fund raiser and proceeds help keep the participation costs down for the band students. You will work in the office away from the playing area. We have one of the most modern, comfortable bingo facilities in Central Kentucky.
